Morgan Freeman slams “terrorist” Trump

American actor/filmmaker chastised US pres. for terrorist attack.

Actor/filmmaker Morgan Freeman has stated some strong words for US president Donald Trump following the assassination of the commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Major General Qasem Soleimani, in a US terrorist operation on Friday.

Freeman blasted Trump, calling him a “terrorist”, “coward”, and “criminal”, among other things, and said that he was “not my president”.

In response to the US president’s “imminent threat” allegation used to justify Genenral Soleimani’s assassination, the award-winning actor expressed that it was Trump’s presidency which was under imminent threat, prompting him to start a war.

A member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, Genenral Soleimani was the commander of its Quds Force.

He spent years fighting terrorism, most recently delivering a humiliating defeat to the Israeli-backed Daesh terrorists in Iraq and Syria.

Early Friday morning, Soleimani along with members of Iraq’s People’s Mobilization Units were a target of a terrorist drone operation by the US military, ordered by the US president.

Freeman has received numerous awards and nominations over the years for his performances including in ‘Million Dollar Baby’, ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘Invictus’.

Recently, the veteran filmmaker created a documentary televised by the National Geographic channel on Imam Hussain (AS) and his stand against tyranny and oppression.

In addition to acting and filmmaking, Freeman is also an avid activist known for his philanthropic work as well as his regular stances on racism and political affairs.
